Ten hours after the tsunami struck Maui Hookipa Beach Park was closed.  Windsurfers launched at Lanes and the Rock Garden instead of the beach.  Even 10 hours after the first tsunami wave struck Maui there were tidal surges every 30 minutes or so.

The day Giampaolo was on fire.  The photos did not come out very good, but I figured I’d share them anyway since they are mostly of friends.  Staring  Glenn, Giampaolo, Ralph, and Heiki — mostly Giampaolo, he seemed to be on every wave!
